Undetectable viral load: Why is it important?

For HIV positive guys, an undetectable viral load sustained over time makes HIV transmission less likely. It also contributes to fewer HIV-related symptoms and fewer other illnesses that would occur because of a weakened immune system.

In 2011 a record number of HIV positive men were on treatment and had an undetectable viral load. This is great news and is a major contributing factor to a stable epidemic.

I make sure if a guy is positive he has zero viral load before I fuck without a condom.
